    Contains 14 Photo(s)

This plant is one of the most recognizable water facilities in the City of Ocala, as it is located near downtown and visual from Pine Avenue.

This plant is in the process of being decommissioned and no longer receives flows. During its time of operation, it was one of the oldest treatment facilities utilizing the Trickling Filter Process, as it was built in 1949. Even though the plant is no longer in operation, its structures will provide an economical solution to some of the needs for the upcoming Wetland Groundwater Recharge Park.
