The Real Estate Division investigates and acquires land and interests required for public use in connection with the implementation of the Adopted Five Year Capital Improvement Plan.
The Division also negotiates leases for property, whether City owned or not, and sells surplus City-owned properties. Included in these processes, the Division recommends estimates of value or oversees the estimations for properties that are acquired, sold, exchanged or leased.
