Emergency Notification System

Emergency Notification System

Fast and responsive emergency services during catastrophic events is of outmost importance. However, alerting those in harm's way of the troubles forecasted, so that safe decisions can be made, is just as relevant.  For this reason, the City of Ocala has implemented Code RED - emergency notification system.

Code RED delivers real-time alerts, initiated by your local emergency response team and public safety officials, to users within the area of impact. Warnings including community emergencies, missing person reports, evacuation notices, and severe weather alerts, among others, will be sent via Code RED.

In order to be notified during an emergency, correct contact information must exist in the notification system's database. Click on the link bellow to enroll and receive local emergency notifications or critical community alerts.

The secure, customized Community Notification Enrollment (CNE) page allows residents and businesses to add and update contact information as needed.  Unlisted numbers, mobile phone numbers, and TDD/TTY requirements can all be entered.  Please know that information supplied will be kept confidential.
