Community Programs

One of the fundamental missions of Ocala Fire Resue is to provide fire prevention and safety education to the citizens of Ocala, despite age or learning abilities. This department believes that education is the first step toward prevention. Through proper education a fire, or accident resulting in injury, may never have the chance to happen.

Learning to prevent said emergencies, and how to react appropriately if one occurred, is vital to the protection live and property. To champion this mission, Ocala Fire Rescue offers lectures, site visits, tours and fire safety demonstrations to any school, business, community group or organization inside the city of Ocala limits, free of charge.
