Ocala Electric Utility Experiencing Communication Difficulties

OCALA, Fla. (Feb. 20, 2019) – Ocala Electric Utility (OEU) is currently experiencing communication difficulties and intermittent outages relative to Ocala Fiber Network. As a result of these issues, the City of Ocala will not be disconnecting any of its utility customers now through Sunday, Feb. 24.

Customers experiencing outages or difficulty with their utility account are encouraged to call 352-351-6666. When calling this number, customers may experience longer than normal wait times, so please remain patient as City staff works to resolve these issues. The City of Ocala Customer Service Center will make appropriate accommodations to any customer(s) affected by these issues.
