Call to Artists - Art in City Spaces

OCALA, Fla.(Dec. 11, 2019) – The City of Ocala announces a call to artists for the Art in City Spaces exhibition program. The City seeks unique, thought provoking public exhibitions that are appropriate for a public city space where work will be viewed by citizens and guests of all ages. Proposals are being accepted for two exhibition spaces.

  • • City Hall 1st Floor Lobby, 110 SE Watula Ave.
  • • Recreation and Parks Administration Building Conference Room and Eighth Avenue Adult Activity Center, 828 NE Eighth Ave.

The City of Ocala’s Art in City Spaces program provides the opportunity for artists and art organizations to exhibit their work in a public city space. Interested parties must apply and be approved before an exhibition is scheduled.

Entry Procedures:

Applications are available online at https://www.ocalafl.org/artistopportunities. Application, artist résumé, artist statement and three high quality image files should be submitted to:
