First Friday Art Walk Returns Friday, Dec. 6
OCALA, Fla.(November 25, 2019) – The First Friday Art Walk returns to downtown Ocala Friday, Dec. 6, 6 to 9 p.m. and will include the following special performances and activities:
• 6 to 9 p.m.– Live music by Greg Snider Quarteton the main event stage.
• 7 and 8 p.m. - Dance performances during intermissions by West Port Dance Group.
• 6 to 9 p.m. –Discovery Center, Appleton Museum of Art, Ocala Chippers, Brick City Bicycles, Ocala Art Group, Ocala Calligraphy, Bogin, Munns & Munns, and Marion County Public Library will provide free, hands-on art activities and demonstrations for all ages.
The First Friday Art Walk occurs from 6 to 9 p.m. on the first Friday of each month, September through May annually. Located within Ocala’s historic downtown, event festivities include over 40 artist displays, live entertainment, free family art activities, arts organizations, galleries and extended shopping hours. Free bicycle parking at the downtown square provided by sponsor, Brick City Bicycles.
