Update: Road Closures - SE Watula Avenue Sanitary Sewer Lining Project

OCALA, Fla. (Sept. 5, 2019) – Due to construction for the SE Watula Avenue Sanitary Sewer Lining Project, SE Watula Avenue, from SE Broadway Street to SE Third Street, and east Fort King Street and Second Street will experience intermittent lane closures beginning Monday, Sept. 9. This project is expected to be completed by Wednesday, Sept. 11.

All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic. During construction times travelers may experience delays, noise, dust and heavy equipment within the project area.  Construction will take place beginning Monday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 6 a.m.

The purpose of this project is to line the 15” clay sanitary sewer on SE Watula Avenue, repairing the deficiencies and damage.
