Ocala City Council Agrees to a Temporary Moratorium for Accepting Future Requests for Residential Telecommunication Services
OCALA, Fla. (May 17, 2017) – During the regular Ocala City Council meeting Tuesday, May 16, council members agreed to place a temporary moratorium on accepting orders for new residential telecommunication services. This moratorium will go into effect immediately and does not affect residential or commercial orders already accepted and awaiting installation. The City estimates that this temporary moratorium will be in place for approximately nine months.
Media and the public will be notified when this temporary moratorium is officially lifted and orders for new residential installation of telecommunication services resume.
