Online Bill Payment Processing
OCALA UTILITY SERVICES – NEW UTILITY BILLING SYSTEM
Effective October 1, 2013, the City of Ocala Utility Services transitioned to a new software system for utility billing. As part of the transition, the customer account numbers have changed. In order to access your account and pay your bill, you will need to contact customer service to obtain your new account number at (352)629-CITY. Any customer who notices a change in the bill such as credits or totals that they cannot understand are also urged to contact the customer service office. We will keep you informed on the status of the new billing system as progress is made toward resolving these issues. We apologize for any inconvenience that this transition has caused. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through this software transition.
PLEASE DO NOT USE ONLINE BILL PAY IF:
- You have been disconnected for a returned check
- You have been disconnected for non-payment or have been reconnected after hours
- You are within three (3) days of your cut off date
- You are a Pay As You Go customer and have received a pending disconnect or a disconnect notice
If any of these apply to you, please visit our Customer Service Center located at 201 SE 3rd Street, Ocala. Our lobby's hours of operation are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Please Note: As a convenience to our customers, on-line payment services are provided by Point and Pay, Inc. When using a credit* or debit** card you must agree to an additional $4.95 per $400 increment. If paying by check, no additional fee is charged. You will need to enter your Routing and Transit Number and Account Number as printed on the bottom of your checks. Ocala Utility Services does not collect or receive any monies from this convenience fee. It is strictly a processing fee charged by Point and Pay in order to provide this convenient service to you.
