Ocala Golf Club: The newly renovated course and facilities at Ocala Golf Club are now open for your enjoyment.  The irrigation system on the golf course has being replaced with modern technonolgy,  the tees and greens are rebuilt using the latest advances in turfgrass, and the clubhouse and banquet facilities have been updated as well. Come out and play!

Re-Discover Tuscawilla Park: This project will bring more Fun than you can imagine, Including . . .

  • The renovation of the Tuscawilla Youth Center to accomodate the transfer of the Discovery Science and Outdoor Center (DSOC) to Tuscawilla Park. The newly renovated DSOC Grand Opening is scheduled for May 23, 2009. Those of you who loved having Fun at the Discovery Science and Outdoor Center when it was at Brick City Park are going to love the new home in Tuscawilla Park.
  • A new playground to replace the recently removed All Children's Playground. The new playground will be a Fun destination for groups and families of all sizes and abilities, and will include ground level components as well as accessible elevated structures. DSOC staff will assist in design to ensure science learning components are also incorporated.
  • A group pavilion to facilitate Fun group gatherings!
  • Sidewalks to connect all areas of the park.
  • Accessible fishing platforms so that everyone can enjoy the fishing Fun!
