The division constructs, regulates, and manages the stormwater of the City of Ocala so that during heavy rain storms, the citizens and emergency vehicles can get to their desired destination. It ensures the accumulation of stormwater is within designed water retention facilities that provide water quality for recharging the aquifer.

Provides stormwater management facilities necessary to protect public and private property, health and safety from potential flood damage and ground water contamination.
