Accident Data
The TPO is currently working with local law enforement to improve data collection and analysis of accident statistics. This process invloves use of hand-held Geographic Positioning System (GIS) units to provide exact locations as well as an enhanced data base to provide more detailed information on each accident. The data collected will be reviewed on a regular basis to identify problem areas and determine if physical improvements or additional enforcement are necessary. As information is developed, we will post selected portions at this location.
