Traffic Counts
Each year the TPO monitors traffic counts from over 385 locations throughout the county. The counts are taken by the Florida Department of Transportation, the Marion County Transportation Department and the City of Ocala Traffic Engineering Division. The TPO compiles the counts in the Annual Traffic Count Book. Depending on availability of traffic count data, the new report is published around May or June of each year.
