Interrupted Service
Utility service can be disconnected for failure to comply with City of Ocala ordinances.
- Utility bills for utility service are mailed monthly.
- Bills are due and payable 20 days from the billing date.
- The utility bill is subject to a late charge of (5%) of the past due balance, 25 days after the billing date.
- On the 26th day, if the utility bill is not paid in full, or if satisfactory arrangements for payment have not been made, the account is considered delinquent.
- Failure to pay a delinquent utility bill within 10 days after the delinquent date shall be cause for Ocala Electric Utility to discontinue service.
If your utility service is interrupted for non-payment, a reconnection fee will be added to your bill along with the past-due balance on your account. Please visit our Service Fees page for more information.
